An AI image editor uses machine learning to change a photo based on a written description. It reads your uploaded picture together with your instructions, then works out which pixels to touch — removing a background, replacing an object, restyling a scene and so on. Because it understands plain language, you can ask for changes that would normally take a designer and a lot of manual masking.

It takes three steps: 1) drag and drop your photo, 2) write a clear description of what you want changed (e.g. 'change the background to a sunset beach' or 'make the person's shirt blue'), 3) click generate and the result comes back in seconds. Plain language works best — describe the change the way you would to a designer.

Yes. The basic plan is free and comes with a limited pool of credits, so you can judge the output quality before paying anything. Premium plans add more credits, faster processing and advanced features, but every core capability is available on the free tier.

Yes — our free AI image editor puts no restrictions on what you ask for in the prompt: change backgrounds, swap outfits, remove or add objects, or restyle a photo in any art style, and write your edit instructions in any language. Every free account gets 15 credits on sign-up to try it. The only limits are legal ones: content that is illegal, involves minors, or violates our Terms of Service is blocked.

Background removal and replacement, adding or deleting objects, style transfer, color and lighting changes, clothing swaps, facial retouching, artistic effects and plenty more. Compound instructions work too, such as 'make this photo look like a painting' or 'remove the person in the background while keeping everything else'.

A few things set it apart from tools like Photoshop: 1) no technical skill needed — you just describe what you want, 2) it understands the context and the objects inside the picture, 3) edits that would take hours by hand happen automatically, 4) results blend in instead of looking pasted on, 5) it can generate content that was never in the original shot. Traditional software needs manual selections and layer work; here the tool acts on your intent.

JPEG, PNG, WebP and other common formats all work. For the sharpest output, use a high-resolution file (at least 512x512 pixels) with good lighting and a clear subject. Lower-quality photos still work, but crisp, well-lit shots give more accurate and detailed results.

Results come from state-of-the-art models trained on millions of pictures, so accuracy is high — though it depends on how complex your request is and how good the source file is. Simple changes like a new background or a color swap are close to flawless, while heavy scene rebuilds may need a second pass. The models are updated regularly, so quality keeps improving.

Most edits finish within 10-30 seconds, depending on complexity and current server load. That is far quicker than doing the same work by hand, which can take hours. Your picture and your instructions are processed together, so you get a professional-quality result in a single pass.

Yes — editing requires a free account, and signing up takes a few seconds with no payment details needed. Every free account gets 15 image credits on sign-up that never expire, and the cost of an edit depends on the selected model and resolution. Results on the free tier carry a small watermark — a paid plan or a one-time credit pack removes it and adds more credits.

You can cancel your subscription anytime — cancelling stops future renewals and you keep access through the end of your current billing period. For refunds, see the Refunds section of our Terms of Service.
