The hop hop hop trend is a two-person TikTok clip from October 2026. A phone stands still in a narrow hallway. One person is close to the lens and points back; the other hops far behind until a flat hand pats the air and squashes them into a crouch. Forced perspective makes the joke.
0–4.3 s: person 1 up front waves, points back and pats down while person 2 hops and squats far behind. 4.3 s: a hard cut on the beat. 4.3–8 s: the places swap, and person 1 hops and sinks into a deep squat at the end.
The sound is a sped-up clip of "Её парень" ("Her Boyfriend") by the Russian artist Shluzov, which is why people search for the hop hop hop Russian song. Creators credit "gabi" for the dance, so some call it the gabi trend.
